REGISTRATION AT THE EMBASSY |
|
All Ghanaians who arrive in Japan are expected to register with
the Ghana Embassy and to acquire an I D Card. The registration
enables Ghanaians to deposit their addresses and other particulars
at the Embassy for any eventuality. A Registered Ghanaian is
issued with an Identity Card, which serves as a reference point
of continuing interaction with the Embassy and shall be the
basis upon which certain services such as Proxy Voting and emergency
evacuations shall be organized and executed in the near future.
All Ghanaians are advised to promptly register to avoid the
embarrassments of trying to introduce each other at odd times,
when the Mission is supposed to be doing something to assist
such citizen in distress or danger.

Applicants are to note further that we
accept only cash payments. |
Only proven Ghanaian citizens resident in Japan
shall be issued with the I D Cards.
